Synopsis

Oleg, 10 ans, vit à Donetsk, aux confins de l’Ukraine, avec sa grand-mère. Il entend la guerre. Des sons parfois lointains, parfois dangereusement proches… Un récit extraordinairement tendre et bouleversant, primé au Festival d’Amsterdam, qui raconte par touches subtiles l’enfance pendant le conflit armé, ses joies, ses peines, ses vertiges et toutes ses peurs enfouies.

Oleg, 10 years old, lives in Donetsk, on the borders of Ukraine, with his grandmother. He can hear the war. Sometimes distant sounds, sometimes dangerously close... An extraordinarily tender and moving story, awarded at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, which subtly recounts childhood, its joys, its sorrows, its anxieties and all his buried fears.
